Itahari, August 1: The award-winning Nepal Press Union Sunsari chapter has unveiled a newly produced documentary on Friday.
According to Pawan Adhikari, the chair of Nepal Press Union Sunsari chapter, the 15-minute-long documentary is the video documentation of various groundbreaking works carried by Nepal Press Union Sunsari chapter durung his 28 moths of leadership.
Adhikari said the documentary was originally scheduled to premiere
at Ninth National Congress of Nepal Press Union at Hetauda. However, that was
not possible owing to varied regions. Nepal Press Union Sunsari chapter was
awarded the best chapter of Nepal Press Union at Nine National Congress at
Hetauda recently.
The 31-year-old Nepal
Press Union has see Sunsari chapter only 28 years ago in 2051 BS. Adhikari is
the tenth chair of the Sunsari chapter. He has carried various well-received
programs like COVID-19 insurance, accident insurance, mobile doctor service, photography
training as well as provision of land and fund for Nepal Press Union Sunsari's
office and prizes.
The documentary is narrated
by Anita Bindu. ''We have been unbiased to serve all working journalists
irrespective of their ideologies or organizational inclinations'', said
Adhikari, ''This has been applauded by all and we have been successful as the
best chapter of Nepal Press Union.''
